317/365 "Hey we're in Tiny Feet!"
The summer has gone by so fast this year & as always too fast. I plan on writing a reflection on the summer soon now that we have moved into autumn. It was nice though when a new friend I made this year, Jennifer Abe, was so pleased with the article I wrote about BlytheCon 2012 appearing in the doll magazine Tiny Feet that she actually took a photo of two of the three pages of the article & photos with Pudding after she received her paper copy of the magazine. ! It certainly made me smile when I saw she had taken the photo to know she was happy to see not only a photo of her doll Pudding dressed in Western attire, her husband Peter in similar Western attire, but also the photo of Jennifer herself with the new girl she won in the raffle. The article was just a brief reflection upon one of the 5 days I spent down there. There is so much more to write about!!!! Soon! I promise!!!

A Walk Past Peas Of The Recent Past...
Lately I have not been that inspired to keep up my blog & have only posted photos by others giving hints to my life or links to other blogs & events always meaning to go back to write more. I have been quiet & busy doing commissioned projects for other people, but this girl that was created by happibug has inspired me again to at least start to take photos again.
I got this girl while at BlytheCon 2012 in Texas where I had more fun than I have had in a long time. It was a long deserved vacation for my husband & myself. I had promised myself last fall that I would not purchase any more Blythe girls having 60 or so neo's & 4 kenners along with a few middies & many more petites, but somehow there have been a few girls this year that have caused me to break my own commitment to myself. I must say I came home from BlytheCon fully refreshed & ready again for life. I have many, many photos to go though that I took while at the event & look forward to having the time to post them here on my blog as time permits so that all might see the creativity in the Blythe Community where there are many kind & generous souls that always keep me coming back to Blythe!

<3 down at Paradise Springs - BlytheCon 2012
Untitled, a photo by mydollies4 on Flickr.
Love this rare photo of me getting the nicest hug with Jair one of the other BlytheCon paricipants down at the pool party - one of the pre-events to BlytheCon 2012. I don't even remember posing for this photo taken by Juliet (mydollies4 - flickr), but I do remember having a great time floating down the Lazy River on inner tubes sprayed by water falls & other water features along with my husband John (L side of photo), then getting out for about half an hour to talk to Blythe friends such a Jair only to return to the water when it got to hot to sit outside there under the shade of a Texas canopy.

As The Dark Moves In, Forrest Remembers When Amelia & Goldie Last Wore These Outfits..., While Alexis Looks On Worrying About Her Sister
As The Dark Moves In, Forrest Remembers When Amelia & Goldie Last Wore These Outfits..., While Alexis Looks On Worrying About Her Sister, a photo by rhubs knit on Flickr.
I am so grateful though that Goldie, Babette the rest of the girls & I know that Amelia will soon be joining Roz. These girls were so excited to put on these matchy - twin outfits, but then Forrest (PAM) remembered who wore them last while poor Alexis doesn't have the faintest idea why Forrest is sad. I guess I will need to show Alexis the photos from last year and tell her all about the traveling blythes. Excuse the graininess & the the unkempt hair - will take another photo during the day. Just had to capture Forrest's memories expressed through her face & Alexis' concern for Forrest.
